1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using BeatVids at beatvids.app (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

BeatVids is a web-based video editing platform that enables users to create beat-synchronized video edits. The Service allows you to upload audio and video files, edit them using our tools, and export the final result.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

  • Upload, edit, or distribute content that infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Upload content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the Service

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Your Content

You retain all ownership rights to the content you upload to the Service. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

5.2 Our Service

The Service, including its design, features, and code, is owned by BeatVids and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our Service without permission.

6. Subscription and Payments

  • Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly basis
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
  • We reserve the right to change subscription prices with 30 days notice
  • All payments are processed securely through Stripe
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of the Service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BEATVIDS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BeatVids and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Poland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. For users in the European Union, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence may also apply.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on the Service and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
